Marriage, Not Dating tells the story of Gong Gi-tae, a successful plastic surgeon who has no interest in getting married. To get his family off his back, he devises a plan to introduce Joo Jang-mi as his fake girlfriend, hoping that they will back off once they think he's already in a committed relationship. However, as they navigate the charade and slowly develop real feelings for each other, they find themselves caught in a web of complicated relationships, misunderstandings, and unexpected love.
